Children Programs
Saturday School
Designed for children 4-12 years old. Students will meet once a week at the MAS center and will learn Quran, Arabic and Islamic studies. Our goal is to help children understand Islam and be proud of their Muslim identity.
Elementary One-on-one Quran
Designed for students in elementary grades. Classes occur Tuesdays and Thursdays and include Bidyaya, Khitmah, and Memorization levels. Our goal is to help children learn and perfect the reading of the Quran, then go on to memorize it.
Quran Levels
Bidaya
Begins with learning the Arabic letters and works towards being able to read from the Quran while applying fundamental tajweed rules
Target: start reading from the Quran
Khitma/Recitation
Begins once the student completed Bidaya. This program works on improving the fluency of the reader
Target: improve fluency and confidence
Memorization
Begins once the student is fluent in reading and works towards completing memorization of the entire Quran by heart
Target: enhance memorization capabilities
