About

Our Mission: To move people and nurture lifelong, God-centered agents of change.

Our Vision: A vibrant American Muslim community striving for a just and virtuous society.

Our Story: MAS Oklahoma is a dynamic charitable, religious, social, cultural, and educational organization.
MAS Oklahoma has been serving in the state of Oklahoma for decades under the umbrella of the parent organization, MAS. To our credit is the foundation of mosques and schools in Oklahoma. In 2015, MAS Oklahoma obtained 501C3 (not-for profit) status. In 2017, we established the MAS Stars Community Center (MAS Center). MAS offers unique programs and services that seek to better the individual and in turn, the greater society by imparting Islamic knowledge, promoting community service, and much more.

What we do

Tarbiya

A comprehensive process of continuous development of the Muslim personality through a moderate understanding of Islam. MAS Oklahoma offers spiritual, moral, and knowledge-based personal refinement to members and to the community. We aspire to raise a generation of committed and disciplined American Muslims who are a living example of the message of Islam and are ambassadors of the prophetic model.

Quran Institute

Quran learning programs are offered to the entire community – children & adults. Our Quranic curriculum is ranked among the top programs in the country. Quran learning is offered to ages 2 – 17 and adults from all backgrounds. Students enrolled in our programs learn from the alphabets to the memorization of the entire Quran and further to the level of certification (Ijazah). The Quran Institute also offers Islamic studies and Arabic programs for children and adults. In addition, our curriculum imparts Islamic knowledge, prophetic traditions, manners, morals, and values.

Youth

MAS is a movement of American youth and young adults. MAS Youth (MY) department works with young people to inspire them to understand, apply, and advocate divinely ordained values in the service of the common good. Our core values of service, equality, and justice are built-in our programs. We engage young people through educational, spiritual, recreational, and social activities in a team environment. Weekly youth meetings and circles of learning are offered to boys and girls separately.

Community Outreach

MAS Oklahoma is a grass roots movement committed to religious, educational, social and charity services in the community.

Educational Services: Knowledge based lectures and workshops featuring guest speakers targeting the community at large

Social Activities: Large social gatherings such as Eid Festivals, and other family oriented activities.

Muslims Giving Back (MGB): A project of MASOK in which volunteers fulfill the needs of the underprivileged by giving back to the community at large
